Book "Dorstman.be & Dorstman.nl"
Kamagurka & Harold HamersmaThe first book by cartoonist Kamagurka and Dutch wine writer Harold Hamersma.
These two icons have been friends for a quarter of a century, sharing not only their love for absurdism but also their passion for wine. A few years ago, these "partners in wine" created their own WhatsApp group, where they keep each other updated on what’s being poured into their glasses and which dazzling bottles make it to the table.
Labels, accolades, and locations of indulgence are interspersed with delightfully absurd cartoons and witty texts. These inspired confessions from the two "Thirsty Men" have so far resulted in no fewer than eight sketchbooks, from which over 130 cartoons have been selected for this exclusive edition.
For Dorstman.be & Dorstman.nl, Hamersma and Kamagurka drew from the very best barrel. The result is a book with body—sparkling, with an elegant balance between acidity and sweetness, and every now and then a hint of bitterness.
The book (dimensions 36 x 26 cm) is a limited edition of 1,000 copies and is priced at €99.90.
